Guardians is the full-color quarterly magazine of In Defense of Animals. In each issue, you’ll find IDA’s campaign updates, inspirational and motivational stories about people who are making a difference for animals, delicious vegan recipes, animal care columns, informative articles about the plight of animals, and ways that you can help animals in your own community or far away.

We also feature animal-friendly advertisers. Our advertisers not only help to defray costs to print our beautiful magazine, but by featuring advertisements, we give you an opportunity to support and do business with quality companies who share our mutual goals and concerns for animals.

In Defense of Animals is an international animal protection organization dedicated to ending the exploitation and abuse of animals by raising the status of animals beyond that of mere property, and by defending their rights, welfare and habitat. IDA’s efforts include educational events, cruelty investigations, boycotts, grassroots activism, and hands-on rescue through our sanctuaries in Mississippi and Cameroon, Africa.
